His professional career as an artist began with the release of the album Mario in July 2002. It turned out to be an instant success. The teenager immediately attracted the interest of public. The second album Turning Point was issued in 2004. The album and its main single "Let Me Love You" made a sensation. The song took the first place in the hit parades of the United States for a few months.
In addition to being a pop singer, Mario is a gifted actor and dancer. During his career as an artist he acted in a few videos. One of these videos, "Step Up", issued on August 11, 2006, is a dance-themed video film. In this video Mario seized an opportunity to show his brilliant dancing abilities.
